Steven lives in Cardiff and was initiated into the Lodge of Amity No. 5823 in 2010 and is currently on a journey through the progressive offices of the Lodge. He was exalted into Royal Arch, Sure and Steadfast Chapter No. 8991 in 2023, and advanced into Mark Masonry, Langley Mark Lodge No. 28, a few weeks later. Welcome to our two latest Local Secretaries in Tennessee and North Carolina.

Stephen Guendert, our new Local Secretary in Tennessee, is an active Tennessee Mason, involved in many of the Progressive Orders and several Masonic research organizations.

Our new Local Secretary in North Carolina is Kenneth Wical, a recently retired Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army. He is an active North Carolina Mason, a Past Master of Phoenix Lodge No. 8, and a Past First Principal of Phoenix Chapter No. 2, and is actively involved and holds similar ranks in many of the Progressive Orders.

Welcome to W. Bro, the Rev. Stuart Boyd on his appointment as our new Local Secretary for North Somerset. Stuart was initiated into Coleridge Lodge # 1750, in 1995, and was Master in 2003, 2004 and 2014. He is also a member of Somerset Masters, Tivoli, and The Builders of the Silent Cities lodges, the last with strong historical links to the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. He is in addition a founder member of Somerset Military Lodge 10021.

Stuart was Provincial Grand Chaplain 2008-13 and appointed PPrSGW in 2014. A member of the Royal Arch, he is PZ of two chapters and is currently PPrGSwdB (RA). He is also a member of the Mark, RAM, and other orders.

We are delighted to welcome Bro. Thomas Barat, a 32 Degree Mason and the Orator of the Abravanel Lodge No. 1116, New York. Thomas is a retired Professor of Communication now working as a journalist and foreign correspondent for the Hungarian press. He is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of CCO MAGAZINE – the magazine for Chief Communication Officers, a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of The Association of Foreign Press Correspondents USA, a founder member of The Club of the Foreign Press Correspondents USA, and a former president of the American-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce.

Welcome to Tom Lamb, our new Local Secretary for the Seattle, Washington, area.

Tom is a Past Master of Edmonds Lodge No. 165 and serves as the editor for the Walter F Meier Lodge of Research. In addition, he is a Past First Principal of Snohomish Chapter No. 15, holds the 33º in the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, and remains very active within the progressive orders of freemasonry.

Professionally, Tom is a retired naval architect, shipbuilder, and professor. He now spends time working as an author and editor.
